Description: 8vo green cloth boards with red decoration on front cover, red print on spine.

Conditions: Near Fine\Good. Boards have minor rubbing on edges. DJ has minor rubbing on front, rubbing at hinge, approximately 1/2 inch tear at top front, 1/4 inch tear at top back, small chips and tears at top and bottom of dj spine, small creases at top.

Summary: The story of an American woman who from 1945 to 1951 worked with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration (UNRRA) and International Refugee Organization (IRO) to rescue, rehabilitate and resettle the more than two million homeless who were found in Germany at the end of WWII.
