Good. Binding is good, corners bumped, one corner is frayed. small tear at head of spine, where it connects with front cover. Heavy rubbing to front of board. Paste-down is soiled, but firmly attached. Owner's name and address on front endpaper, bookseller sticker on adjacent recto (W.B. Clarke Co, Boston). There are a couple handwritten notes on these pages, also. Light dampstain on right-hand side of pages - pages are warped, probably from dampness. Some foxing, mostly in association with plates. Pages turn fine, are otherwise clean, and are tightly bound. This is a good price for a hard-to-find book.
